Speed Log Delivers Reliable
Speed Through Water Measurements

July 15, 2017

The A.824(19)-compliant SAL R1a Easy Tank Speed Log uses acoustic correlation technology to deliver stable and reliable speed through water measurements, with superior performance to conventional solutions based on electromagnetic or Doppler technology.

The speed log’s “Easy Tank” transducer mounting solution allows for a closed-ended installation, with no need for a watertight compartment or piping above the waterline. This allows for cost-effective installation or retrofit, with hardware available to suit either aluminium or steel hull constructions.
