Acoustic Current Profiler
The FlowQuest 2000 system operates at 2 MHz with a blank distance as short as 10 cm. The system is about 12.6 cm in diameter, 21 cm in length and weighs less than 1.4 kg in water, and it is capable of reaching up to 20 meters in range with an accuracy of up to 0.25 percent ±2.5 mm/s. Its standard depth rating is 800 meters with options for 100, 1,500, 3,000 and 6,000 meters. LinkQuest Inc.
Multibeam Sonar
HydroBat™ is an entry-level multibeam system operating at 160 kHz and covering a swath of 120°. RESON A/S.

Side Scan and Bathymetric Sonar
The HydroChart 5000 utilizes a phase difference measurement technique and linear FM (chirp) processing to produce bathymetric data integrated with side scan imagery meeting IHO SP-44 Special Order Standards. L-3 Communications Klein Associates Inc.

Navigation Software
DELPH INS is a post-processing and bulk data productivity tool for use with all of the company’s INSs. It features advanced data editing, forward-backward processing functions and a data export capability. IXSEA.

AIS Meteorological Station
AIS TideMet transmits integral weather and tide measurement data live over AIS channels to all marine users within a 25 km range. Lymtech LLC.

LED Strobe
Powered by three C-cell alkaline batteries, the Strobe 3500XL Expedition utilizes a 10-watt LED strobe secured within a solid aluminum body, providing strobe power at depths of up to 2,500 feet. It is capable of operating at 60 flashes per minute for up to 20 hours. Tektite Industries Inc.

IEPE Triaxial Accelerometers
Available in ranges of ±5 g, ±10 g and ±50 g, with a choice of 100, 500 or 1,000 mV/g sensitivities, the Type 8688A range incorporates PiezoBeam® technology with an integral ceramic cantilevered beam, enclosed in a titanium housing weighing less than 6.7 g for 1,000 mV/g. Kistler Instrument Corp.

AUV
The Iver2 has an open-system architecture, allowing the user to add sensors. Time-stamped, georeferenced mission data can be downloaded to post-processing programs while the vehicle is on the surface or after the project is complete. OceanServer Technology Inc.

Subsea Camera
Designed around the CCD 36:1 zoom camera and using LED lighting, the ARMS monitors each individual mooring chain and anchor on semisubmersible drilling rigs. Bowtech Products Ltd.

Side Scan Sonar
With a total power budget of less than 12W, Solstice features MSAT, P2I and RTAC capabilities. Sonardyne International Ltd.

Multiplexer System
The 914 unit combines with a FO286 fiber optic rotary joint to provide for the simultaneous transmission of a variety of signals over a single fiber through a rotating interface. Moog Components Group.

Trawling System
Instead of steel chains, the SumWing® uses a number of streamers that send out bursts of electrical pulses, driving fish up from the seafloor and into the gliding net. The method reduces fuel consumption and bycatch as well as damage to the catch and the seabed. MacArtney Benelux BV.

Scanning Sonar
The SeaKing Hammerhead sonar has two standard frequencies of operation: 935 kHz to enable high-resolution imagery and 675 kHz to allow for long-range capability. The wide transducer allows for a very narrow horizontal beam to be created on both frequencies to increase image resolution. Tritech International Ltd.

Directional Wave Sensor
With the addition of the WatchMan500™ controller, the TRIAXYS™ Next Wave sensor can support and control any number of other sensor types and many more telemetry devices, and users can network their sensors together. The sensor can also now continue to sample waves during the processing and transmission cycles. AXYS Technologies Inc.

Loadcells
Designed for the measurement of tensile or compressive forces in underwater locations down to 10 m, the DDEN series is constructed from stainless steel and protected internally with an inert waterproof gel. The electrical termination is a IP68 multicore cable that connects through an IP68 cable gland. Applied Measurements Ltd.

Compact Wide Swath Sonar
GeoSwath Plus Compact offers very wide swath bathymetry and up to 12 times water depth coverage, together with coregistered, georeferenced side scan data. The system is packaged in a small splashproof unit running off 24 V with 40 W power consumption. GeoAcoustics Ltd.

Drysuit
Made of a trilaminate material with polyester outer layers, the FLX EXTREME features a diagonal front-entry zipper; telescoping torso, suspenders and crotch strap; a warm neck collar; and RockBoot™ System or Turbo Sole Boots with ankle straps. Cordura is used on the upper body and legs for extra durability. Diving Unlimited International Inc.

Dynamic Measurement System
The miniaturized version of the DMS-EGP02, the DMS-SGP02 uses the S-series MEMS rate gyro. It is equipped with a dual GPS antenna system. Watson Industries Ltd.

Pipeline Valve Torque Test/Service Kit
This kit consists of 3 elements: a Pneutorque® power tool, a special annular transducer to measure torque and turns, and instrumentation for display and data logging. The package enables users to monitor and record torque and turns applied to the valve in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Norbar Torque Tools Inc.

Digital Tilt Indicators
The DTI series of 5-digit programmable digital panel meters is designed to take an output from any of the company’s gravity-referenced inclinometers, provide the necessary trigonometric conversions and display the output as an angle, with a resolution down to 0.001°. An analog voltage output and a RS422/485 serial output are supplied. The enclosure is manufactured from recyclable and flame-retardant materials, with front-panel conformance to IP65: NEMA 4.
