Fox
Laborde Products (Covington, Louisiana) has appointed Mike Correnti to the position of industrial manager. Since 1993, Correnti worked with outside sales for a gas engine distributor.
BlueView Technologies Inc. (Seattle, Washington) recently announced the addition of Warren Fox to its management team. Fox joined BlueView as director of research and development and Navy systems. Fox previously managed a variety of Navy contracts at the Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington.
Raymarine (Merrimack, New Hamp-shire) recently announced that Dave Bimschleger has been named president of the company. Bimschleger will lead the company’s U.S. operations, bringing more than 27 years of experience in consumer products and business-to-business sales to the position.
Noblis (Falls Church, Virginia) recently announced that David Evans is serving in a new position as corporate director for science. He was the under secretary for science for the Smithsonian Institution and led the White House Global Climate Change Initiative for the National Oceanic and Atmosphe-ric Administration (NOAA) and served as NOAA’s assistant administrator for research.
Bruce Applegate, a research scientist and leader in ocean technology and seafloor mapping, has been named associate director for ship operations and marine technical support at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego.
