InterMoor (Houston, Texas) announced the appointment of Cohen Guidry to the role of global QHSE manager. Guidry joined InterMoor in 2006 as HSE manager and has more than 20 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, mostly in quality, health, safety and security roles. He will be based at InterMoor’s offices in Morgan City, Louisiana.

Retired RAdm. Nevin Carr has been named vice president for surface readiness and future capability at URS Corp. (San Francisco, California). In his new position, Carr will be responsible for expanding URS’s capabilities and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the surface warfare community.

Ally MacDonald is the new chairman of Tekmar Energy (Newton Aycliffe, England). With 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and a background in engineering, MacDonald brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.

Willard Marine (Anaheim, California) appointed Richard Bryson as director of engineering and Smokey Glover as director of East Coast operations. Bryson has more than 20 years of experience with major boatbuilding companies, and Glover comes to Willard Marine from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Combatant Craft Division.

The new appointment to Emco Wheaton’s (Margate, England) marine team, Ron Lalonde is now marine loading systems sales manager for the Americas. As well as making direct contact with clients, Lalonde will work with a network of agents and managers in driving new and aftermarket sales of marine loading systems.

Teledyne Gavia (Kópavogur, Iceland) appointed two new members to the Gavia AUV support team. Christopher Ordonez will work at the facility in Falmouth and Eyjolfur Bjarnason is now a part of the support team at the manufacturing base in Reykjavik, Iceland.

DeepOcean AS (Haugesund, Norway) has named John Baxter as director SURF. Baxter has 24 years of international oil and gas contracting experience. He previously served as executive vice president for business acquisition at DOF Subsea Norway AS.

Neil McCurdy is the new chief operating officer at OceanGate Inc. (Woodinville, Washington). In his role as COO, McCurdy will be responsible for administering OceanGate’s corporate strategy and coordinating operations and sales programs to reduce costs and increase profitability.

ROMAR International (Aberdeen, Scotland) has added to its team Mark Bullmore and Zander Duncan as operations manager and workshop supervisor, respectively.
