Atlas (Aberdeen, Scotland) has appointed Lambert Ebot as regional manager, USA. He will be based in Atlas’s new office in Houston, Texas. Ebot will head up the company’s U.S. business operations, with new and existing clients within the energy sector.

Arnold Furlong has joined GeoSpectrum Technologies Inc. (Dartmouth, Canada) as a partner. He will be the director of business development and will lead the company as it further expands into the environmental, oil and gas, and military markets.

Douglas Joy was appointed general manager of Heraeus Sensor Technology USA (North Brunswick, New Jersey), effective in April. He succeeds Dave Molnar.

Crowley Maritime Corp.’s (Jacksonville, Florida) solutions group has named Farhad Rajabi vice president of its project management team. He will work out of the group’s Houston, Texas, office and report to Craig Tornga, Crowley’s vice president of solutions.

Michael Michulka, Leighton Mauro and Gary Kelly have joined SEA CON’s (El Cajon, California) sales team. Michulka is now part of the technical sales team. Mauro’s new role is supporting sales in the Gulf Coast area. Kelly is now the U.K. sales manager.

Dave McGlade has been elected chairman and CEO at Intelsat S.A. (Luxembourg), effective in April. McGlade has been the company’s CEO for eight years. McGlade has appointed Stephen Spengler as president and chief commercial officer, a new role at the company. Spengler has been with Intelsat in executive positions since 2003, most recently serving as executive vice president of sales, marketing and strategy.

2H Offshore Inc. (Houston, Texas) has named Glen Jewell and Hanh Ha as additional directors of its London, England, office. Jewell and Ha will join John McGrail and Alex Rimmer. Ha’s primary activity sector will be flexible riser, flowline and umbilical engineering, and Jewell’s focus will be drilling and production risers and conductor systems.

Yvan Petillot, who has been awarded an industry fellowship by the Royal Society, will join SeeByte Ltd. (Edinburgh, Scotland) for a two-year period beginning in May. He will lead a research and development team. Petillot was one of the original founders of SeeByte in 2001.

Mark Preece has stepped down as CEO of the Reef Subsea Group (Aberdeen, Scotland). Duncan MacPherson, the managing director of Reef Subsea Norway, has assumed the interim role of CEO. Mel Fitzgerald has been appointed board chairman.
