Amanda Ellis has joined DeepSea Power & Light (San Diego, California) as marketing coordinator. She will manage all communication-related materials and expand the company’s social media activities. Before, she worked as a marine science instructor for the Marine Science Institute.

Tesla Offshore LLC (Prairieville, Louisiana) has hired Jay Northcutt as its operations general manager. For the past 16 years, Northcutt was geophysical manager with C & C Technologies.

Hydro-Lek (Finchampstead, England) announced its new senior management team following the passing of its founder and managing director, Chris Lokuciewski, in November. His daughter, Charlotte Mott, will take up the position of managing director. With more than 15 years at Hydro-Lek, Alan Green will serve as technical director. Kenneth Cast joined Hydro-Lek in December, with responsibility for sales.

Santa Barbara, California-based Channel Technologies Group (CTG) has launched a new engineering department, with Mark Shaw as the vice president of engineering. The department handles research and development. Shaw has worked for CTG for 23 years and previously served as vice president of business development.

Damon Wolfe has joined EdgeTech (West Wareham, Massachusetts) in December as product line sales engineer. Previously, he served for four years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as technical lead for hydrographic, topographic, and geodetic surveying and photogrammetry projects.

Brian Anderson, previously vice president of oil and gas sales for Liquid Robotics Inc., has accepted the position of autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) technical sales manager at C & C Technologies’ Houston, Texas, offices. He will expand the line of powered ASVs built and operated by C & C Technologies through sister company, ASV Ltd.

RESON A/S (Slangerup, Denmark) has hired Adam Junner as a hydrographic surveyor and Pim Kuus as a hydrographic specialist and site engineering manager for its global engineering services team. Both will work from the Aberdeen, Scotland, office.

Patricia Gruber joined Battelle (Columbus, Ohio) in November to lead its undersea systems business. She last worked as deputy director at Pennsylvania State University’s Applied Research Laboratory, and prior to that, she served as the director of research at the U.S. Office of Naval Research.

Craig Perciavalle was promoted in December from senior vice president of operations to president of Austal USA (Mobile, Alabama). Interim president and CFO Brian Leathers was promoted to senior vice president and CFO.
