Macklin
Crowley Maritime Corp. (Jacksonville, Florida) announced in April the promotion of Julia Shemesh to vice president and deputy general counsel. She will provide advice and support on legal issues for Crowley’s West Coast business, such as petroleum distribution and marine solutions. Shemesh will also be part of the ongoing expansion of Jensen Maritime.

InterMoor (Houston, Texas) announced in April that it named Jim Macklin as vice president of projects and engineering. Macklin will be based in Houston. He has more than 35 years of experience in the marine and offshore industry.

CTC Marine Projects Ltd. (Darlington, England) appointed Tony Inglis managing director, effective in April. He previously held the role at CTC from 2006 to 2008. Bart H. Heijermans served as the prior managing director and is the CEO of DeepOcean Group.

ACE Winches (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) announced in March the appointment of David McKendrick as head of group sales. He has more than 25 years of experience in business development and general management in the mechanical maintenance sector of the oil and gas market.

Ashtead Technology Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) announced in March the appointment of staff to its Singapore facility. Steve Williams was named regional general manager, Kevin Murray-Taylor as regional sales manager and Michael Bain as internal technical sales manager.

Bluefin Robotics Corp. (Quincy, Massachusetts) hired Omer Poroy as vice president of business development in January and Ian Estaphan Owen as director of programs in March. Poroy is an ocean engineer who worked at Teledyne RD Instruments for the past decade. Owen previously worked at Raytheon Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp.

Tritech International Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) announced in April the appointment of Scott McLay as sales director and David Bradley as supply chain director.

The Spill Control Association of America announced in March that it appointed three new directors and renewed John Parker’s directorship for a two-year term. The new directors are Harry Bedrossian of SPC/Brady; Michael Gallagher of C.I.Agent Solutions and Devon Grennan of Global Diving & Salvage Inc.

EPC Offshore Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) announced in April new managers. Project manager Euan Sellar will focus on the Rochelle field development for Endeavour Energy in the North Sea, and Rob Harris will be the study team leader on the Lancaster development for the Hurricane discovery.
