Braithwaite
Phoenix International Holdings Inc. (Largo, Maryland) named Mike Kelly director of marketing and sales for its oil and gas sector. Kelly, who will be based in Houston, Texas, has 20 years of experience in sales in marketing, the last 10 of which were focused on oil and gas services and equipment.

Chris Braithwaite
was appointed nonexecutive chairman of Ashtead Technology (Aberdeen, Scotland), the company announced in June. He has more than 25 years in the oil and gas sector, most recently as chief operating officer of Wellstream Holdings plc.

Spencer Vanderpal was appointed Brinker Technology's (Aberdeen, Scotland) Middle East regional manager in May. He will work on building its client portfolio at the company's recently opened Dubai facility.

Braemar Seascope Pty Ltd.
(London, England) announced in May that managing director Tony Pegum would be leaving the company July 1. He will be replaced by James a'Beckett.

Hydrus Group (Aberdeen, Scotland) appointed Martin F. Anderson as operations director in May. He had prevoiusly worked at Neptune Deeptech for more than 14 years.

Hibernia Atlantic (Dublin, Ireland) named Kathy Perone as its chief operations officer. Throughout Perone's 30 years of experience in telecommunications, she has served as CEO for several companies.

BIRNS Inc. (Oxnard, California) has appointed Steve Bell as its optical/photonics engineer. Bell will be responsible for the design, development and execution of BIRNS' fiber-optic connector systems.

Science Applications International Corp.
(McLean, Virginia) hired Robert D. Reilly Jr. in June as its U.S. Navy strategic account executive. Reilly, a retired Navy rear admiral with more than 35 years of experience, will lead the company's Navy Account Management Team.

Gene Rice recently joined McDermott International Inc. (Houston, Texas) as its technical director of rig repairs at the company's Altamira, Mexico, fabrication facility. Rice was previously director of engineering at Signal International.

NCS Survey Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) appointed John Meaden as chief operating officer, effective in September. Meaden has 30 years of operations experience in the survey sector.

Piezo Composite Transducers Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) recently appointed Alistair Birnie as technical director. Birnie, with 30 years of experience in the subsea arena, has led a number of major technology initiatives. He was formerly CEO of Subsea UK.

GE named Dan Heintzelman CEO of GE Oil & Gas (Houston, Texas) in July following the retirement of Claudi Santiago, who had held the chief executive position for the past 12 years.

After two years as CEO of EIVA a/s (Hasselager, Denmark), Lars Hansen has resigned to take a management position in the United States, the company announced in June. The board of directors is now in the process of recruiting a new CEO.

Dave Kagan became president of Globe Wireless LLC (Palm Bay, Florida) in June. He was previously senior vice president of business development at SpaceNet, and before that he was president and CEO of Maritime Telecommunications Network.

Dawn Wright will join Esri (Redlands, California) as chief scientist this October. Wright is a professor of geography and oceanography at Oregon State University and will continue to be affiliated with the university.

Marine Current Turbines Ltd. (Bristol, England) has appointed Andrew Tyler as CEO. Tyler was previously chief operating officer of the Defence Equipment and Support organization at the U.K. Ministry of Defence.
