Teledyne Odom Hydrographic Inc. (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) recently announced that it has retained the consulting services of Henning Pedersen of SONARTRONIC, based in Århus, Denmark. Pedersen will be assisting with the company's market development activities throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Raytheon Co. (Waltham, Massachusetts) appointed Daniel J. Crowley president of Raytheon Network Centric Systems in McKinney, Texas, effective November 1. Crowley's experience includes 27 years with Lockheed Martin Corp., most recently as chief operating officer of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
Bowtech Products Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) reported in early November that Brian Hector has been appointed technical director. Hector joined Bowtech more than 16 years ago. In the last five years, as head of engineering, he oversaw the introduction of the company's range of Aqua Vision professional underwater cameras and light-emitting diode lights.
Jeff C. Gust was recently named chief corporate metrologist for Fluke Corp. (Everett, Washington), where he will oversee the company's primary metrology laboratories in Washington, Utah, Arizona and Texas. Gust will focus on initiatives to unify and standardize metrology policies and practices.
InterMoor (Houston, Texas) has recently named Joe Hebert operations manager. Hebert's 20-year career at InterMoor includes being a supervisor, marine specialist and assistant operations manager.
Darren Comben has joined Atlantas Marine Ltd. (Yeovil, England) as business development manager, the company announced in November. "Darren joins us from the Maersk Training Centre, where he helped to roll out their training services to commercial ship companies," Charlie Foll, managing director, said.
Kelvin Hughes Ltd. (Ilford, England) recently announced the appointment of Martin Taylor as managing director of its charts business, effective November 1. Taylor, who had been equipment business director for Kelvin Hughes since 2007, has taken control of the company's electronic and paper charts and publications business, ChartCo, and leisure and superyacht operations.
Hawboldt Industries (Chester, Canada) announced in mid-November the addition of Steve De Belie to the business development team as account manager, focusing on providing engineered solutions for the commercial and offshore oil and gas segments. De Belie brings 20 years of experience in business development, design and production relating to marine equipment and handling systems.
